United Nations in Malaysia Launches New Offices in Putrajaya

The United Nations offices in Malaysia has relocated to a new home in Putrajaya. This was marked by the inauguration of the new premises in the heart of the Federal Government Administrative Centre by the Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Anifah Aman, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The opening ceremony was attended by Haoliang Xu, United Nations Assistant Secretary-General, United Nations Development Programme Assistant Administrator and Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, the Diplomatic Corps, Senior Government Officials, Heads of UN agencies 

The new offices of the UN located in Menara PJH, Precinct 2, houses the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator (RCO) , the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), United Nations University – Administration and United Nations Conference on Trade and Development – Automated System for Customs Data (UNCTAD-ASYCUDA).
