Kuala Lumpur Sustainability Roundtable

The Global Compact Network Malaysia (GCMY), a local chapter of UN Global Compact will be organizing the Kuala Lumpur Sustainability Roundtable with Ministry of Entrepreneur Development. The forum that seeks to gather thought leaders from the private sector in the areas of environment, infrastructure, healthcare and education to converse on sustainability issues and best practices. The event is set to take place at Dewan Mahkota, SMECorp, KL Sentral on 3rd September 2019.

Comprising of an impactful keynote address by the Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and high level panel discussion on key issues in achieving the Global Goals, the forum will provide participants with insights on the SDGs and the challenges presented in achieving it.

The programme will expect an attendance of 150 people from across different sectors especially from the next generation of leaders, the half day forum promises to bring lots of exciting discussions and debate on “The Next Big Leap for Malaysia” followed by ” Science, Technology and Innovation for Development: Systemic Solutions for Systemic Economic, Environmental and Social Challenges and finally discussing on the “Inclusive Healthcare & Quality Education: Shaping Responsible & Productive Future Generations”.

Top speakers from SMECorp, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Academy of Sciences Malaysia, University Technology Petronas, Pantai Hospitals and many more will be speaking at the forum.
